Market Turnover:

The total market turnover decreased by 94.9%, reached at TZS 498.72 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 9.69 billion.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 90.39% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, AFRIPRISE, NICO and DCB.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated both the purchase side and sales side by 100%, leading to absence of net foreign cash outflow.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.001% equivalent to TZS 19,043.43 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase by 0.001% equivalent to TZS 12,731.42 billion driven by Maendeleo Bank Plc, NICO and AFRIPRISE.

Gainer & Losers:

Maendeleo Bank and NICO were the stock gainers in the market, their prices increased by 3.23% and 1.47% to TZS 320 and TZS 690 respectively. While AFRIPRISE was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 2.27% to TZS 215.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 32.2981 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 30.5358 billion, encompassing 54 deals. The traded bonds included were 10-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and AZA Corporate bond.
