CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 89.05% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, AFRIPRISE, NICO and TPCC.
Local Investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 100.00% and 99.75% respectively. While foreign investors sales side was 0.25%, leading to net foreign cash outflow of TZS 0.73 million.
Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.973% equivalent to TZS 19,026.19 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease of 0.005% equivalent to TZS 12,976.90 billion. This is NICO.
NICO was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 1.39% to TZS 710.
The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 21.3932 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 23.1118 billion, encompassing 42 deals. The traded bonds included were 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and AZA and NMB Corporate bonds.
