Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 5.1%, reached at TZS 882.50 million compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 839.8 million.

Top Movers:

CRDB was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 94.91% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were NMB, NICO, TPCC and AFRIPRISE.

Market Participation:

Local investors dominated both purchase and sales side by 99.60% and 68.27% respectively. While foreign investor participation on purchase and sales side was 0.40% and 31.73% respectively, leading to the net foreign cash outflow of TZS 276.49 million.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.467% equivalent to TZS 18,860.83 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight decrease by 0.001% equivalent to TZS 12,577.39 billion driven by NICO.

Gainer & Losers:

NICO was the only stock gainer, its price increased by 1.64% to TZS 620. While AFRIPRISE was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 2.27% to TZS 215.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 4.1094 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 4.3387 billion, encompassing 10 deals. The traded bonds included were 20- and 25-year government bonds.
