Market Turnover:

The total market turnover increased by 15.5%, reached at TZS 3.91 billion compared to the previous session’s figure of TZS 3.38 billion.

Top Movers:

TBL was the top mover of the market on the day under review, contributing about 76.21% of the total market turnover. Other top movers were CRDB, NICO, DSE and NMB.

Market Participation:

Local Investors dominated both the purchase and sales side by 87.71% and 80.79% respectively, the foreign Investors purchase side is 12.29% and sales side is 19.21%, leading to 270.23 million net foreign cash outflow.

Market Capitalization:

Total market capitalization exhibits a slight increase of 0.899% equivalent to TZS 19,360.41 billion. On the other side, Domestic market capitalization experienced a slight increase of 0.209% equivalent to TZS 12,817.87 billion. This is driven by Maendeleo Bank Plc, NICO, CRDB and DSE.

Gainer & Losers:

Maendeleo Bank Plc, NICO, CRDB and DSE were the stock gainers in the market, their prices increased by 3.03%,1.37%,1.33% and 0.86% to TZS 340, TZS 740, TZS 760 and TZS 2340. DCB was the only stock loser in the market, its price decreased by 3.7% to TZS 130.

Fixed Income Market:

The fixed-income market observed bond trading with a face value totaling TZS 2.7685 billion. The total transactional value for these bonds amounted to TZS 2.7685 billion, encompassing 21 deals. The traded bonds included were 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year government bonds and NMB Corporate bond.
